Yesterday, I met this woman in shopping mall.
I had bought my cigarettes and was idle.
Sometimes it’s a fun- watching people.
I met her in the grocery section.
She was pushing her heavy trolley with only one hand, as her small baby was sleeping on the other.
Obviously, it was difficult for her, and I offered help in pushing her trolley.
After throwing a thorough and long searching glance, she accepted.
She accepted- with a small “OK” and a nod.
It was almost an hour and half, when she finished and by that time, I was tired.
I was tired of pushing her trolley, tired of visiting every section and every shelf of the mall, tired of following her like a servant- without a word between us.
However, I maintained my patience. I wanted to finish the work; I have taken in hand and not leave it halfway.
Finally, she paid at the counter, and we headed for the parking- me following her, pushing her heavy trolley, silently.
She opened her car and I was emptying everything.
By mistake, in hurry, one of the carry bags banged against the door and something inside was broken.
She looked annoyed. “Stupid- You broke my flower vase”
The next moment she was composed, and with a word of “Thanks” she left.
Standing there, I smoked. I like the bitterness of my brand- Better.
