Who's reading PrplDrgnFly (13):
Well well well the time has begun for the 2008 Presidential campaigns!!! I have just read that Hiliary might/will be running!!! I have mixed feelings with this. First she is a Democrat (boo); which Republicans are not much better, but still!! I think the only thing that she will have going for her is the fact that she is a female, and the FIRST female to do this. She will be making history!!!! I want to hear anybody and everybodies views or opinions and who they would like to see in the 2008 election.

Personally, I would like to see a dark horse candidate motivated by a grass roots movement to clean up the gov't. I wouldn't want him/her to be associated with either parties, for none of them represent me. They only represent moneyed interests. I'd like to see a candidate fighting for the people in the US, not protecting corporate interests. Chances of that actually happening? Slim to none. Why? Because no matter how much funding this imaginary candidate would get, the media(mouthpiece of big business) would tear him apart, and make him a mockery. Sometimes people have a strange characteristic of deserving the government they elect. I'm starting to get the feeling that it may be too late for the people.

I would love a women president as long as it's a great political figure that I respect and agree with. Hillary Clinton is NOT that kind of person. I never want to see her in the Whitehouse again!!! EVER! I would hate to see her be the first Lady president. She would go down in history for that and I don't want THAT!!!! Also, I would NEVER want to see Bill Clinton in the Whitehouse again either. And what would that make him? First Man? ewe! He defenitly does not deserve that title and attention. So no way would I want Hillary to be president!!!

I totally agree with you....two hundred percent!!! I just heard not to long ago that Condoleeza Rice has put her ticket in!!! So I would feel safer with her than with Hiliary.

I've had a lot of debates with neocons over the definition of torture and now I'd like to pose a question to the SC community. Is this torture?...
In a controversial move, the Minnesota State Elections Board has decided that Al Franken defeated Norm Coleman in a race that had Coleman ahead originally and now is being contested by the Coleman camp.
This leads me to my point :...
