Obama says we're in danger of a recession due to the economic policies of the current administration. Hillary says the same thing. G.W. says we're not in a recession and we're not going to be in one.
Last night, my instructor brought up the low unemployment rate as an indicator that we're not in a recession.
One of my co-workers today commented that we are in one, and we're headed toward a depression.
Me, I think we've got low unemployment. I think the average wage as compared to the cost of living has gone significantly down. I think that's the reason for the lackluster sales at the cash register, people don't have disposable cash anymore because they spend it all on keeping food in the pantry, the lights turned on and gas in their cars. I think the people who are close to the current administration, those who are rich in the right catagories, oil for instance, are richer now, and the billions of dollars that should be spent in and on our country's infrastructure and economy, are being spent overseas to enrich other countries.
The world's rich get richer, and the middle class gets poorer.
And I think the next administration is going to be stuck with the bill.
So what do you think, are we in a recession, going into a recession, or is everything going to be fine?
