  Even with the word "stereotypical" in there, it's hard to say.  I can only name a few that I personally have had bad experiences with---and that may not be under the same category as "stereotypical."  I don't know.
   
  BUT:  A real estate agent, a loan officer once, and a crusty old dentist who I got into a verbal contest of words with come to mind.
   
  The real estate agent asked me, "Who are you?"  (meaning, "Who do you know?")
   
  The loan officer treated me like I was scum for not knowing the real estate agent.
   
  The dentist was just a jerk.

  Celllular phone salesguys....they look at you like you are dirt and they try to dump over your miserabel outdated cell the highest price plan with no mercy even though its the third time you specifically ask for the cheapest option on the market...hate them...

  Dentists.....we never know for sure if we really need all those super-extra-expensive-blood sucking stuff they claim being sooooo vital for our teeth......they are Nazi in disguise.....

  Computer techies......they salivate for the anticipation of lashing against us (poor mortal computer users) their criptic codes....they speak a language from a defferent planet and dont care translating ....they could sell me all the most useless software in the internet universe when all i really need is a soudcard...

  Each one was patronizing to me and preferred to talk to my husband.
  We stood up and walked out of the brokers office without a word when he showed surprise at my ability to multiply two numbers.
  The car salesman said I reminded him of his ex-wife...we walked out again.
  The mechanic looked over my shoulder and told my husband, "She's probably just not strong enough to put it in gear".  My husband whispered in my ear "Get 'im Hon", and stepped back.  I cracked up laughing.  We walked out of there, too.

  .. lol. just that that profession tends to draw a type of arrogant, holier than thou person, typically guy. they notice weakness not strengths in my experience. and are helpful only to people who are ok with giving all their power over to another person.
  
  
  don't get me wrong, there are times when they are useful and necessary, but i still think that even so, they tend to be stuck in this 'i heal YOU' mentality and can't see their own black spots.

  I deal with all kinds of professionals in my job, because all kinds of professionals have pension plans that I've administered, and I would have to put lawyers on top of the list of most unpleasant. Their reputation is well deserved. But I'd also put cops high on the list, maybe worse than lawyers. It's just that none of them have corporate pension plans so I never deal with them on the job. I guess cops number one, lawyers number two.

  I was thinking and thinking and was going to say that I could not come up with any...but I have to agree with Rupert....politicians...not that they are all corrupt, but the whole way that they have positioned themselves as elitists really freaks me out and when I heard about how they set up their pensions, salary increases, benefits packages.. etc. I decided that they really are the biggest jerks around!

  I used to sell cars and thought, my God, how low a job I have to take to survive. Wanna know something ironic? I found the car salesmen had better character and class than do some of the corporate execs with whom I now work and have worked in the past.
  
  Daily is right, it's usually the managers pushing the salesmen to be sleazy, although I had good ones who told me that if I didn't know an answer for a customer, never lie or make anything up. Come ask. It was better to be new and not lie, than to lie and alienate the customer. Surprised?
  
  Now, there are ways to lead a sale without being a jerk, pushy, or unethically. It's a job that CAN be done right and with sensitivity. I did. Hopefully I negate one car salesman vote. ;)
  
  I vote corporate execs are the sleaziest.

  I'm a little late on this, but such is life. I know some guys in Sales and Debt Collection that can be jerks when they are provoked. They're actually kinda funny though!

  Politicians have been mentioned, and I agree they deserve to be. I remember meeting a Congresswoman named Elizabeth Holtzman in Brooklyn at a train station. She was running for office and she was shaking everyone's hand as they came up the steps to the train platform towards Manhattan to catch all the commuters on their way to work. She shook my hand with the pastiest, softest little handshake I ever got, just making contact with my fingers, and in the middle of the handshake I could feel that she had forgotten me and was looking at the person behind me. One second I was being touched by a human being, and the next second our hands were still in contact but there was nobody home in her hand. You can physically feel when you are utterly ignored, somehow.
