One thing I can't do is underestimate my assignments. I thought I could get everything done in a certain amount of time, but each assignment is different and takes a different amount of time. So, managing my time is becoming a top priority for me, because there have been two times now, that I had to hand in an assignment that wasn't complete. But I had no choice, because it was due and I had to hand it in as is.  Finally, after the second assignment was done this way, I actually decided to ask my teacher, how long she thought it would take to complete the given assignment, and she actually told me what I needed to know, and there have been additional times, she told me a certain subject would need researching,  I was thankful for that, because sometimes, I feel like banging my head against the wall trying to figure out what to do. With two incompletes now, I can't afford not to have my assignments uncompleted.

I'm glad you've talked to your teacher.
I had several friends that didn't graduate, because the never completed their work.
I could never understand it, I always told them to at least hand in something!
I think they wanted their work to be perfect, and they thought it wasn't, so they took incompletes.
Better to hand in an inperfect paper and get a B or a C, than to hand in nothing and eventually get kicked out of college.
It sounds like you're working towards success!
    Good luck.

Scheduling and time management are difficult things to master both in school and RL.  I was pretty good at getting assignments done, but there were times it required pulling an all nighter to do it.  Now I find that if I can ask the person handing me the task how long they estimate it will take, or when they REALLY need it done that I can manage my time more efficiently.  I also build in Murphy's Law time.

Good luck and hang in there!

I have always been unsuccessful at time management.  I am still trying to get caught up from last year. Good thing I'm not going to school. huh?  Luck to ya.

Thank goodness those days are way behind me!...You are confusing yourself though! I am quoting you directly here - just look what you wrote! "With two incompletes now, I can't afford not to have my assignments uncompleted." The word not following the word afford, well...it should not be there, should it?  I don't mean to criticise, its just uncle Rupert's mischievous nature! completely benign, I assure you. Good luck with your studies.
