Hello all and welcome to my blog!

 

I'm not sure where to begin this blog so I guess I will just start by telling you a little about myself.  I am a 41 year old female living in the midwest.  I am unemployed but have a great husband that supports me.  I have no children - unless you count the 4 legged type in which case I have one :-) 

 

I plan to use this blog as a place for me to vent about the things happening in my life.  The three areas I will probably vent about the most are my diet and exercise choices, my health issues, and my marriage - including sex or lack of it!

 

So let me fill you in ~ I started a weight loss program about a year and a half ago.  Lost a total of 111 pounds, than I got sick.  I gained back about 30 pounds and just now have started back at trying to work off this extra weight!  I am still sick and have been to tons of doctors and dentists but no can figure out what is wrong with me.  I am currently a week away from having health insurance so I am trying to wait it out before going to another doctor!  Now as if being sick for the last 8 months wasn't bad enough, my husband got sick around Christmas and New Year's ~ he spent three weeks in the hosiptal!  The problem with that was first of all he is the bread winner in our house so we had no income for the week prior to him going in to the hospital, the three weeks he was in the hospital, and the two weeks after getting out of the hospital that he was home on bed rest!  But the biggest problem with him getting sick was he had no health insurance!  We currently owe $65,000. for his medical bills! 

 

We got married in Oct. 2007 ~ when we returned home from our honeymoon the company he had worked for had closed their doors!  He found another job in about a month's time only to get sick and be off work again!  So of course we had no insurance!  Not to mention that it really sucked having to spend our first Christmas and New Year's together in a hospital!  The hositpals [he was at two different one's during his three week stay] don't understand that we can't afford to pay these bills and with me being sick and the type of job he holds [he is a truck driver gone away from home for a week at a time ~ so he is not here to help me with my sickness] our marriage is under a lot of stress!  Heck we've even talked about getting a divorce already!
