A friend warned me that the link he was sending may simultaneously depress me and make me think.  And it did both, and I value the information in the article I'm about to link to.  While Cracked.com is mostly known for it's fall-down funny articles, this one is something else entirely (though there is some humor involved).  Please let me know what you think of it, because it made me personally realize that maybe I've been a little too negative and cooped up lately, and it's time to change things -

Very interesting article.  Thanks for sharing it.

How interesting that it was posted right after a co-worker of mine and I were discussing how the "information age" was causing *some* undesireable side effects.

This came up as we were discussing an article in the paper about how some 62% of people under the age of 40 can't point out where Iraq is on a map.  (Especially since there's a major war going on there!)  One of the things we talked about that wasn't in the article you posted was that few will choose to retain information in their head anymore.  Why should they, when they can simply pull out their iphone or blackberry, an in an instant find out what ever information they want?  While the technology is wonderful, one of the issues it causes is that people to have less to talk about one-on-one.  It's no wonder the perils of Britney, Lindsey, Paris, and Nicole are hot topics, eh?

Terrific read, Gorgutz.  I was strangely moved by the poor, lonely bear.

    And that wasn't sarcasm!

O

In the tradition of A Day Without TV, or A Day Without Smoking, or National Orgasm Day, I suggest agreeing upon a day without anybody mentioning, evoking or otherwise commandeering God for their side.

O...
Dear Void?...
So, if you remember from my previous post, Clark was a bit of a jackass. Or, that's how it remains in my memory. I got a surprise text from him last night, asking me if I was going to hit up a certain bar....
This morning started out really crappy.

But my day became much better as the day progressed.

How one person manage to change even for a bit, the unromantic side of me....

Ugh

Pretty decent relapse yesterday regarding the resolution. I suck....
