The very day I met you was the happiest day of my life

Most newborns cry, but you were quite and already had that awesome smile

Fragile, tiny and calm, you’ll never know how much you changed my entire being

How much you changed the way the world I am seeing.

I named you Angel because that’s what you are to me

Not only that you brought so much joy

But so much hope in times of despondency.

I was young when I had you,

Yet you made me strong,

You made me grow,

And made me realize that I had so much love to give

And so much to reap.

With your awesome smile

Attractive, almond eyes

And long, shiny hair

You are, at 17 today, still the Angel that I had

Your love for books, cooking, animals and the internet

I am so proud that you got those from me

Sometimes I wonder why

How you turned out to be

Such an Angel in disguise

There are times when I dread missing you one day,

And you no longer needing me -

So I preciously cling to these days

When I comb your hair

Watch One Tree Hill

Cuddle in bed

And I just relish the words being said.

My precious Angel I know you’ll fly away someday

But I bless that day for I know you have strong wings

That will take you to great heights,

To where your dreams rings.

But no matter where you’ll fly

IN my heart you’ll always stay

An Angel who was given to me

An Angel with the most radiant smile

That touches the hearts of many.

Today when I stopped by the office before taking my daughter home she made me laugh....
It burned
My heart churned

Memories went up in smoke
The reality was no joke...
A silly poem about animals and their rhyming names... and some that look like they do, but don't. There are a couple of references to British TV personalities too that might be missed by our tea-vandalising and wallaby-whacking cousins....
I hope that someone who knows Mr. Travolta will get this poem to him. If not, then let it heal your own pain of mourning for a lost loved one. If someone knows his email or address please tell me....
Secret #184: i write poems for no one and hide them everywhere i go.
Secret #185: i secretly want to find one back to me one day....
