Look at the faces of those around you when they are just staring off into space, or lost in thought during a calm or "normal" time.
What expression are they wearing? I have a slight smile that inevitably shows whe I think my face is relaxed. Others have a "natural" frown. Some people look vacant, some look nervous, some seem sleepy (though they aren't)...
I find many people appear to be "generally disgruntled" - surly, if you will, when nothing else is happening.
