  Just trying to set the tone for this Friday for me.  Glad you're both here.  I love the Beatles, too.  I'm a purist, though.  I'm not too keen on any of their solo stuff.

  Really?  some of those solo songs were very good.  to me the beatles were the beatles even when they were separate.. I was in 7th grade when they landed in the U.S.  wow, I am almost as old as Paul! ha!

  You're right Mimi.  If anything, each and every one of those videos deserve a separate post on to themselves.  I've done them a great disservice by lumping them up together.  :)

  Man, this took me back.....way back ......wow   This was the song my dad used to play for my mom.  He loved her so much.  They had one of those fairy tale marriages.

  He loved music and the stereo was always playing......

  I remember one night, they were going out to some formal function.  He had this song playing....my mom walked down the stairs and my dad went over to her.....grabbed her hand and said to us....(his three daughters)  Isn't she the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. 

  He died at the young age of 51.  But I will never forget the love they shared.  This was their song.
