This is another series, proposed by your local truthsayer.  I actually prefer the whole word:  MEMORANDUM.  I just like to say it though...I don't like to write it ; )

Okay here is the definition of MEMORANDUM, so that you won't be surprised at all of the topics and subjects that I can actually cover in "A Memo From Truthsayer" : )

MEMORANDUM:

memo-ran'-dum.  n. [[MEmemorandus, to be remembered, ger. or memorare, to remember:  see MEMORY]]  1. a)  a short note written to help someone remember something or remind one to do something  b)  a record of events or observations, esp. one for future use  2.) an informal written communication, as from one department to another in an office  3.) a diplomacy, a summary or outline of a subject under discussion, reasons for or against some action, etc.  4.) Business, a statement, made by the cosignor, of the goods and terms of a consignment sent with the priveledge of return.  5.) Law, a short written statement of the terms of an agreement, contract, or transaction.

Okay, here's my first "Memo" to y'all.

Truthsayer MEMO #1

Some of you may know that I saw My Sunset Dawn the other morning.  If you don't know what I am talking about, here is a link (http://www.soulcast.com/post/show/113160/My-Sunset-Dawn).  I wrote it on Valentines Day.  One of my dear friends said it was a Valentine from my Heavenly Father.  I hope you didn't mind me sharing it with you.

Then I saw that lunar eclipse last night, which seemed to look like, and stay that "rare" gray.  At least it did here in our neck of the woods.  I already sense big changes on the horizon folks.  I wish I could be more specific than that friends.  I don't know if it is just for me...although I would be flattered to think that my Maker might make these signs, wonders, portends...just for me.  But we have to remember that He is pretty good...okay, He is perfect at communicating many things to each of us, and doing it in our own personal language, or symbolism.  For me, these two memos are from my Lord.  He just uses creation and nature to communicate.  For you, they may be nothing, or they may see like something entirely different.

They said that a gray color to a lunar eclipse is "very rare" on the NASA site, and most other sites that we read last night.  In fact, the only explanation I could find for why they are rare, or what causes them to appear in this rare way, was that it usually occurs when there has been a very large volcanic eruption.

Couple this apparent rarity of color with the fact that we won't see another total lunar eclipse until December 21, 2010...and let's just say it got my truthsayer mind wheels turning.  It made me think of some questions that I would like to ask you, if you don't mind.  If you do mind, of course, don't answer : )

1.  Did you see the eclipse?  If you did, what color did it appear when it was at total eclipse?

2.  Not that it has to do with anything magical or other worldly, but did you notice anything unusual in your own life yesterday?  I saw a post about evil_twin's interesting day yesterday, and in addition to what my husband noticed in his own life, it made me wonder.

3.  I tried to google about world events and any correlation to lunar eclipse since the other lunar eclipse that really got my attention.  It was the one on Easter of 1996.  I remember it was really red.  It made me think back then too.  Does anyone know if there is a site that may have historical events and lunar eclipse juxtaposed?

Well friends, those are a few things I have been thinking about.  I just wanted to remind you that we all tend to think and feel and some of us even know things by looking at creation, nature, etc.  I think my Amer-Indian and other indigenous friends have the best perspective on this.  But now, I am asking for your thoughts on the eclipse.  I don't know if "pretty" is the word I am looking for...but I sure enjoyed it.

How about you?

yes, for once the sky was clear clear clear, and i could see it very clearly.

i was out shopping around 9pm (eastern) for rabbit food and to me it looked like the moon was 1/2 covered with a dark grey 'mist'

there were so many stars out!

around 10pm, i was back home, and my husband, son and i went outside and there was just a sliver of the moon showing, the dark grey mist, but also a red ring-

about 30 minutes later, it was just a dark grey area with alot of red.

it's actually the first time i remember seeing a lunar eclipse with so much red, and it was very beautiful.

my feelings about it?  mostly just awe at the beauty in this world we inhabit.

Hi Truth!  We had lots of clouds last night but I still saw it.  I went out onto the deck several times to look.  I even woke Scooter Bug up and drug him out there to look.  He wasn't as impressed and went back to bed.  ;-)

    1. You asked what color it looked from here - orange'ish.  I didn't see the gray.  I feel a little cheated....

    2. Did I notice anything unusual in my own life?  Besides that it is in complete upheaval you mean?  (smile)  Other than - only one thing.  It was a BIG thing to me but nothing to be shared publicly.

    3. I don't know of any sites.  If I run across any I will share them.

That word "change" keeps coming up........
  • quietone said on Feb 22, 2008....
I missed it, but the people I worked with saw some of it and said "pink".  Oh, I like pink!  Hmm...yes that word change has come up here and there all over SC.  I am excited about that.

Truth I did not even realise that there was an eclipse yesterday and there was nothing strange in the sky that I noticed.  But I can tell you this, and I have no idea if it has any bearing on the eclipse, but I was completely fine yesterday until last night whilst watch tv.  All of a sudden (and it wasn't cold inside) my teeth started chattering and I got the chills, the next thing I was feeling terribly ill and my throat was so swollen inside and sore!  It was just the weirdest thing!
  • truthsayer said on Feb 22, 2008....
Oh secret...that is unusual.  You know I was looking at old photos of lunar eclipse (what is the plural of eclipse? ; ) from the past, and I never realized until now that they may have looked different for people in different parts of the world.

I know that the atmosphere filters out "blue light" and this accounts for the reds, oranges and yellows...but it certainly stayed gray here.  The government shot down that failing spy sattelite the same day/night as the eclipse.  I wonder if the hydrozene (sp) fuel that was in it could have caused that.  There was an earthquake in Las Vegas too.  Hmmm.  I really don't know what on earth ; ) could account for the brilliant colors you saw and the gray that we saw.

It is an amazing creation that we are allowed to enjoy, isn't it?  It looked, to us, like a dull and lifeless gray marble hanging on nothing in the night sky.

    Thanks for posting secret.

Happy Friday fearing my friend!  Yes, I find the different accounts of color interesting.  I'd wager that most saw the reds and oranges that you and secret saw.  I don't know what to think of it.  If I had to say a color...then that pale pinkish gray might be it.

Number 2...we have to talk.  Sounds wonderful though : )

    Number 3..thanks, if you find some...let me know...but don't sweat it...it is small stuff really.  : )

Another one that has noticed a frequency in the word and notion of "change".  Interesting.

    Talk to you later lady.

Oh quietone...Another "pink", whereas our view might have been a slightly pinkish gray.  Ok : )

And another one that has noticed the word "change" all over SC...and you are excited too!

Let's keep our eyes, ears and hearts open for postive, wonderful, amazing and beautiful changes...shall we?  : )

Thanks for posting quietone : )

My dear friend polar!  I am sorry that you didn't see it.  I cannot tell you here, exactly what was going on in our family at the time of the eclipse...but it was really sudden and strange too.  I hope you are feeling much better or all better now.  Once we realized what was happening...and talked about it (again, I cannot go into exactly what), but when we realized the eclipse was happening...somehow, things came back into perspective.  I'll pm more if I can...actually, I think you and fearing will know what I mean because you know so much more about me and my life.  It was exceptionally weird though.  And I am not usually uncomfortable with weird ; )  It is usually my friend...this was different.

More later on that.  How are you feeling now?

I saw the beautiful eclipse too. It was medium grey with then a ruddy red tinge to it. I saw the same lit sliver that secret was talking about...it was exactly 10:01 pm here at that time. I felt a quickening about it and said the Our Father prayer. It was beautiful and it seemed to usher in a fluttering of ...newness? I felt at peace and joyful. thanks Truth!
  • truthsayer said on Feb 22, 2008....
Thanks for commenting Mamie.  Nice to see you too.  It got my attention, like I said.  I have seen them before, but this one was especially interesting because of the wild dawn I had recently experienced.  It makes me think of "timing".  The Lord's timing of course...but our awareness of it, our willingness to act, etc.  That is important too.  Anyway Miss Mamie...it was lovely reading your comment.  I hope trust and pray that all is well with you and yours.

Truth, I look forward to hearing more :-)  I am still not feeling great :(  Thanks for asking though!
  • wombat said on Feb 22, 2008....
Sorry I am late here....but it looked more of a brownish/pink when it was in full eclipse here.I went "awww..."  at the time it was almost in full and just a tiny sliver of white moon was on the edge like a fingernail.  When I looked at it with binoculars, I could see the whole moon--and that was grey.   Nothing unusual in my life lately, but I had that feeling and a little wish (prayer?) that if there were going to be changes that they would be good--not just for me, but for everyone.
  • CreativeWoman said on Feb 22, 2008....
I saw it as well.  It was really something.  I tried to snap a photo but the battery failed on my camera.

polarheart...prayers sent...promises claimed...health proclaimed : )  Be well friend.  Nasty viruses.  Yuck.  It's nice to have the care and prayer support of others.  Especially when we really need to rest.  Bless you lady.  truth : )

yep, i saw the lunar eclipse too, and although it didn't have the spiritual ramifications for me that it did for everyone else here, it was a magnificent sight to behold!

    1. it was a dark slate gray. however, b/c it was cold, i didn't stay outside for long, i'll confess.
    2. no, i can't say i noticed anything particularly unusual that day, apart from the fact that i got myself slightly lost coming home from work due to the lateness of the hour and relative unfamiliarity. btw, did you intend to reveal your gender? :>

    3. i just tried googling that and didn't turn up anything interesting, i'm afraid.
