I haven't felt like blogging as you may have noticed since it's been more than a month since my last post. Heck, for that matter, I haven't felt like writing in any form much lately, even at work. I'm not entirely sure why. I have things worth sharing, but each time I sit down to write, I'm either too tired and can't think straight long enough to put thoughts down logically, or I've lost the thought altogether.

I didn't want to leave you thinking I'd abandoned ship, although it feels that way doesn't it? I think I will return to my sacred thoughts soon enough, and who knows, maybe even this tiny post is the key to getting the old cranial juices flowing again.

Stay tuned.

nice to see you again!  I wondered what happened, but can relate to the tired to the brain cell level thing.

I recently had a bit of a blogging hiatus myself. Not that long, but I totally understand the way you feel. Sometimes I just can't write at all. But luckily that passes! I hope you feel like coming back soon. Sometimes it does just help to write something simple and get back into the swing of things.

Thanks guys. Sometimes it's much easier to write a comment on someone else's post rather than to originate my own post. LOL

    But I'll keep trying.

Hi, I can understand you. There are times I have a strong feeling to write, whether it is blogging, or letters, or essays or short stories, or this science fiction project with others that I am involved with; and sometimes I cannot even think of writing, it just is not there.

That is similar to what I have with dressmaking, or crocheting, or 'gormet' cooking as opposed to 'survival meals'. It has something to do with the creative force in general.

. I think the best thing to do is not to worry about such blocks, and use the time for non-creative efforts (like sorting socks, for instance or working out on the bicycle or drinking tea or even going to sleep at a normal hour or watching a video.

Thanks Trinov. Good suggestions. Ed, I've been asking myself the same question. I think I've just been rundown. PT
