Say what you mean and mean what you say. Don't say one thing and do another. Back up your words with actions.

Actions speak louder than words? Maybe. But words matter too. They should line up to be about equal. Words and actions should be even.

So if you say you're going to beat the crap outta someone if they call you an idiot one more time, then you better beat the crap outta that person once idiot flies outta their mouth.

In closing, if you say you're going to do something, do it. And make sure the words you speak are clear in meaning.
