  Those pics are awesome battycat!!  Oh, that brings back memories of when I had to do the same thing here years ago when I had my horses.  I dreaded going to the barn and doing the chores...and chopping the ice!  Hey, take a pic of the horses, I'd love to see them.

  interesting pictures but looks too cold for me! Pippa looks cheeky! what is she? about 15hh? do you ride bare back,I did for a long time because I could not afford a saddle!  The more I look the more I am thinking 14hh. I better stop looking before I shrink her down to a shetland pony! LOL -nice looking horse! (and she knows it!)

  I am jealous, i wish i had a horse. they are my favorite animal.
  In 1996 we ran a 40acre/38 horse farm. i will remember those days for the rest of my life.

  Rupe - I did have to ride her bareback for a while, her old saddle was causing her problems, and I had to wait to get a new one, but I much prefer a saddle!

  wow! These are so great!! It reminds me of my grandfathers horse farm in Minnesota. His horses were so fun and he "let us" take care of them when we visited. I haven't ridden horseback since I was a teen. I may just have to do that this spring for old times' sake! thanks for sharing and I love Pippa! mamie
