SeanRenaud reads (4):

You give me vertigo,

down is up, up is down and I can’t find the ground.

You spin me about

You’re whispers can shatter reality

And you like to shout.

Things I know can’t happen

You promise me and taunt me for doubting

When it comes to you I simply can’t find a rule

No matter what the game I’m the one playing the fool.

My compass spins,

In is out and the outs are in

The impossible is possible

Even likely when you speak

I want to ask questions

To know where I fit

But I can’t cus you won’t

So I simply trust and follow

You give me vertigto

Even when I fall I can’t find the ground

All I can do now is trust and obey

I’ll follow you because you know the way

    1. No prob.  Had to get it off my chest anyway

    2. Yeah there is.

    3.  Sorry.

Please, it's I who should be sorry.  It was very well written.  It was rather flippant of me to jest at a topic that seems rather personal in nature.

    Once again, my apologies.

rofl.  Dont' be sorry, I actually took is as a compliment that my words caused a reaction.  Unfortunately infelction carries poorly over the net.

    :)

Ever seen "High Anxiety" by Mel Brooks?  It's a spoof on Hitchcock's "Vertigo".  For obvious reasons, your poem reminded me of both films.

sounds like someone tried to turn you upside down all right.

Sean--I really like the rhythm of the piece. I think it works every well with the subject. :)

It sounds like a song I've heard before. A good song. That must mean this is a good piece.

I think that sounds like things often are SeanR.  I like the poem.  I had the flu recently.  I rarely (if ever) get inner ear problems.  But for about a week after the fever broke...the floor, the walls, the ceiling...looked like I lived in a Tilt-A-Whirl.

I still had things to do and people to take care of.  So, I had to trust some built in 'inner navigation' mechanism that I could only hope, trust, and have some faith ; ) that I had.  It was really weird.  But it worked.  Even in Wal-Mart!!!

I like the poem because you were able to articulate something that lots of people wouldn't be willing to say...even if they thought it was true for them too.

It's the first thing I have seen from you in a while.  I may have been dizzy, but I still kept checking in : )

Thank you for sharing that with us.  I am so proud of you.

It is harder to share pain than it is joy. Sometime with the help of friends and family, we endure our pains. But sometimes we have to stand alone. But if you maintain a postive outlook and endure cheerfully, we will find more company along the way....

And

and...
I suppose, anyway, just quit looking at my coffee ... that'll get you into trouble and you don't want trouble....
