I have always loved Cookie Monster.  Him and the Count were my two favorite characters on Sesame Street.  I didn't care that he promoted bad manners and displayed OCD type behavior regarding cookies.  That just made him all the more endearing to me, you know?

I found this today and I just loved it.  Thought I'd share it with you all.  Click on the link to see the video.

Cookie Monster comes to NPR.

I know, my last two posts have been videos and of little content and substance.  I'll change that soon.

All in due time.

Thanks for stopping by.

Grape.

He didn't hesitate on that one, did he?  And he made it all one word just to get it in there!

me sometimes talk like cookie monster. my favorite is miss piggy, because she looks so... edible haha. hey, welcome back to this other lunatic realm, man ... :-)

wombie:  Ha!  I know!  He couldn't wait to spill the dirty word!  :)  Another reason to love him, I'd say.

ginger:  The Count is cool.  He displays OCD type behavior in regards to counting, too.  It's these little psychological quirks that make them seem....  Almost real....

I like Big Bird, too.  I'll bet he's tasty roasted over a spit.  Mmmm......  :)

no7:  Look!  Up in the sky!  Now only if he can stick the landing...

moonie:  Thanks for the welcome.  Miss piggy's cool.  Like you say, edible.  :)  As far as Muppet characters are concerned, I think I have to put a vote in for Statler and Waldorf.  The two old grumpy Muppets on the balcony.  They're great!

PBW:  Still remember the cookie(My new favorite word, btw).  :)

This doesn't really explain my long absence, but it seemed fitting somehow.

Don't know about being invincible...  I've been feeling a bit fragile as of late.  Good to know there's someone out there that thinks otherwise.  :)

The little 'un doing well?  I think of you and yours often, whenever I see a comment left by you.

    All my best,

    grape.

So I was having a theoretical argument with a friend, and we couldn't decide who would win a no-holds-barred fight, Cookie Monster or the Count?...
