Who's reading stoney (4):
may the winds fill your sails
scraps of paper,matchbook notes
hand written messaages
in the pockets of my coat
no cell phone to interupt
my random thoughts
no laptop or email
no spam to be fought
I don't seek solutions
nor do I place any blame
success is not my purpose
nor is it to gain any fame
the road I travel
many before have been on
I won't stumble over you
or do something upon
if I get in your way
I will step aside
I won't hamper your progress
or break your stride
when it's sunny I'll be out there
on the range
when it's raining or snowing
inside I will remain
no pop star no idol
no corparte guru
will change my mind
I'll leave that up to you
I have no bank account
IRA,Money Market Issues or CD's
you can't sum up my life
by accomlishments of greed
I have made many mistakes
yes they are all mine
i hold no grudges
or let my ego make me blind
no method to my madness
I don't play games
if your read this far
you might think me insane
but if you see me out there
on the trail
just smile and say hi
may the winds fill your sails

Thank you destinydiva for your kind words. I like your self-description , it inspired me to write this

    I have an unclear conscience
    and I am old
    I lost memory
    where it is
    I just do not know
    my world maybe crazy
    but that's alright
    I'll share my poetry
    with you tonight
    always keep your mind open
    that's what they say
for a mind and a parchute
    are used the same way
if it's not open when used
you will not have a good day

It is harder to share pain than it is joy. Sometime with the help of friends and family, we endure our pains. But sometimes we have to stand alone. But if you maintain a postive outlook and endure cheerfully, we will find more company along the way....
