Is there a real difference between the radical islamists and our own radical wingnuts, on one hand we have radical muslims calling for the death of us infidels (not that our religion is that tolerant and doesn't have its own periods of darkness) and the other we have radical "christians" killing us as well. is the difference just a matter of skin color or is it easier to hate someone who is not in our back yard, please dont take this post the wrong way, my own belief is to simply put these wing nuts on the six oclock news and put a bullet in the back of thier head, sooner or later the rest will either decide not to be a martyr or we will ending up shooting them all. but my question is this, everyday we are bombarded with news of radical islam and thier desire to kill but people like Bernardo, McVeigh and the ilk seem to rate a few second sound bite and nothing more. maybe we should start dropping the religous tag and call them for what they are, cold blooded killers who should be put down with less sympathy than we would give a rabid dog.

Well, the difference as I can see it is Islam are more committed to their cause, the ones who are doing it here, in the name of Christianity are trying to justify their actions by using his name.  A person who is truly committed to the cause of Christ takes up his cross which is one of love and peace.

You may be correct, having been raised in Northern Ireland, I can tell you religion was used as an excuse of some of the most vile acts I have ever seen, my question was however why do seem to ignore acts of christian terror yet blast into every media outlet all the other extremist idiots
