A friend of mine was just in Denmark and Germany, so he had bought ALOT of liquor and stuff. Because thats a thing here in Norway. When we're visiting our neighbouring countries, we tend to take advantage of the low prices, and/or tax free prices. But today i started thinking, this must be a rather local trend. I wonder if anyone else does this, in other countries around the world? I feel 'everyone else' alredy has cheap liquor and beer. You know, in Norway, or in my city anyway, it varies from place to place, but in my city, you're only allowed to buy beer between 08:00 and 20:00. Liquor has to be purchased at a certified government controlled liquor store. Also that place closes at 18:00. Beer selling stops at 18:00 on saturday, while the liquor stores close at 15:00 on saturdays. A bottle of absolute vodka or something, 0,7 litres, costs about $50 (US). A can of beer, 0,5 litres is about $4-5 (US).
