  It depends on what you hope that promise to be. If you are looking for money--well, forget it. You only get paid if someone clicks on your ads. I would suggest most of us do not (click on ads). If you are looking for a community of bloggers, such as writers to talk (with), then you have come to the right place. SoulCast is having an internal server problem this weekend, so a lot of us regulars cannot post. We can comment, though. So--they can try to silence me. But I will work my way around it. Welcome!

  I suppose it comes down to what you're referring to as "promises the real thing". If you're talking about Google Adsense money earning, then not really... you'll have better change writing articles for $5 / 500 words. It's practically the same as writing a blog, but you're guaranteed an income. ;) But Soulcast is a great community where you'll find friends, and share great times all in your spare time. =]

  Well, I think there is a possibilty of earning some money whilst having fun. My rolling-7-day earnings have more than doubled from $1.12 last week to $2.62 this week. If the trend continues for a few more weeks, it'll be earning me some reasonable extra pocket money. Just for doing something I enjoy anyway.
