I just can’t stand to watch this! It is killing me to have to see Hillary’s campaign going down! It’s gone down so far now, that it is almost within death throws.

I hear people saying that she did it to herself, I say…very little, did she.  Since this all began I’ve watched interview after interview and listened to commentator after commentator, and it was very systematic, what occurred.   Oh, I’m used to hearing "Hate” coming from the Republican side, who even listens to that, but that isn’t what took her down.

Let’s go back a half of a month, especially the last 10 days. Ask just about any Democrat you know, who has been actively arguing in favor of Obama’s candidacy, one of the dominant reasons why they have chosen to, within that list will be something like this: “Do we want to revisit the “partisanship” that happen during Clinton’s years in the White House?, or things like; "Do we want all of the Clinton problems being rehashed again, with conspiracy theories and such." ….Where did that come from? The “Right”, people! All of that rhetoric came from the "Right."

That has been steadily fed to us ever since Bill Clinton was elected. Here we go blindly thinking that backing Obama with his young “good looks”, and hollering out a vote for me is a vote for change, with no accomplishments or experience whatsoever, nativity, and huge smile, is going to let the air out of the “wind bags” to the far right.

We can yell all we want his campaign slogan, “Yes we can”, “I know we can,” but that isn’t going to stop the Republicans come November. We are actually taking someone, a very qualified someone, who knows how to work with Republicans, and help get legislation passed. Hey, sometimes it pays to be an “insider” In Washington, who knows policy inside and out. If Hillary doesn’t get the Democrat nomination, it is going to be a sad day for me alright, but even sadder for the Democratic Party and the country....

Obama wouldn't be my choice, but neither would Hillary, for that matter. I am voting for McCain.

I am a registered republican, but have not voted in years.  This year I will vote, but not republican.  I do not trust the republican party any longer especially since it has become another voice for the religiously driven.  If Hillary is the ticket, I will vote for her.  If it is Obama, even as vp, I just will not cast a vote.  Race is the underlying force behind Obama and race will impact America if he is ever elected.

Obama has won Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, Washington.

Alaska, Washington, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Colorado are 4% or less black. Iowa is less than 3  North Dakota weighs in at 0.6%.  Maine is at  0.5% and Idaho is the second lowest black population in the country at 0.4%.  Montana at 0.3%  hasn't voted yet or I'd be able to crown Obama the king of Cracker Nation.

Tell me.  HOW the HELL is Obama about race?

  • curmudgeon said on Feb 13, 2008....
Hillary's albatross is her husband. He came out with a bunch of semi-racist foot in mouth jabs at Obama and they backfired. At the same time, there was all this yap about a two-for-one Clinton Presidency. I think that's just crazy. We're not electing him. All he'd be this time around is the President's husband. And yes, he would indeed bring  a lot of personal baggage back into the White House that their opponents would exploit. This is politics, after all.

How strange that an anti-Obama, Hillary supporting Democrat is the one who brings up race but vents all blame and hatred against the Republicans.

It was Hillary who said "vast, right wing conspiracy" - not the Republicans. Everything out of her mouth these days is "I'm not Bush, Bush did a bad job, Bush is a meanie," etc. She's said NOTHING about how she's better qualified than Obama - other than her one little term doing NOTHING AT ALL for the State of New York, other than represent her own interests. She can't even decide whether she's a Yankee fan or a Met fan.

It's high time the Clintons packed up and left Washington altogether. The country would be better for it.

And this is coming from someone who voted for Bill twice. They and that pinheaded pseudo-smartie Al Gore drove me to the Republican party.

I may wind up voting Libertarian this year.

This is a good example of liberals eating their young.......Hillary was supposed to be the chosen one....then they started looking at Obama....now the press is manipulating coverage to exacerbate the situation....putting highlight on the Obama wins....playing down Clintons.

But hey....they will both end up on the ticket anyway.....so who cares?
  • ALIENated said on Feb 14, 2008....
Hillary, really? You lament Hillary, really? Have you not done your homework. I
watched a video the other night about her and Bill taking illegal campaign
contributions from Peter Paul (do a search on Hillary versus Peter Paul). She
was recorded, caught red handed. Obama is an inexperienced far left liberal,
but Hillary and Bill are dangerous power hungry socialist crooks.

Look at it this way, Juan McLame will probably win, but most will be voting
for his running mate, who will end of being president before the four years
are over. If Obama wins, we may not have four years. We will probably go
down as England and Europe are going down. At best, we will be a country
of Mexicans living a Canadian life style.

You lament the downfall of Hillary. I lament the loss of America as we once
knew it even if McLame wins.

  • husbandhater said on Feb 14, 2008....
I love Hil but she also comes with only a few years in Senate and her "EXPERIENCE" comes more from Presidential Bedroom Privilage than actual political experience. Lets just all be honest here.  Part of her appeal is that Bill comes with her and he won't let her fail as President or at least we are all hoping that. He was a good President who left us all Rich or poor in a better position than the Bushes had in previous years of Vice Presidency and Presidency. We are all praying that the ole' Clinton Magic could rub off and we could see magic again.

But what this all boils down to is that Most of this country might not be READY to be ruled by a woman. Obama even with his interesting family tree is appealing partly b/c he is a fresh face and a man. Even my husband said he'd rather be ruled over by a man than a woman and he and our whole family are rooting for Hillary. "Man get it!" Is what my husband said to me in the kithchen when we discussed it. White or Black Barack is still a man. Perhaps we are more sexist as country than racist in the 21st century. Which means we've come far but still not far enough on either front. And also some one made a  good point that the same families have ruled this country for over 10-20yrs. Maybe some think we need new Players in the game.
  • husbandhater said on Feb 14, 2008....
How could Obama be about race when he was raised by a White mother and then his white grandparents? He probably is more in touch with what whites want and?or need than what Blacks want or need. A couple of years exposure in "tha hood" isn't going to make up for what he missed during his entire life time. So his campaign is probably so much less about race and more about the human experience. Besides you have many Blacks that don't trust him and are vying Hil's way at least until Bill started up with the semi racial assaults. So much for him being the unofficial official Black president.

I'll say one thing for you, Alienated....you don't ever disappoint me, your same ol' dribble about the Mexicans and what-not, why don't you for once just stand straight up and say...."MY name is Alienated, and I am a racist, and I don't like women either, unless they are in the kitchen with their aprons on and cooking my dinner!".......
  • ALIENated said on Feb 14, 2008....
My name is ALIENated, and I am a realist, and I do not like socialist women
like Hillary even if they are in the kitchen with an apron on. And I can cook
my own dinner. It really does not matter. Hillary is losing steam. People are
hypnotized by Obama, but it will not last. No matter how people crow and
claim to be open minded, they will pull the McLame lever when they go in the
final voting booth. At this point, no matter which candidate wins, America
loses. It is just that simple, like it or not.

  • ALIENated said on Feb 15, 2008....
And, my statement about Mexicans and Canadians was simply something I
heard last night on the radio about America being overrun by Mexicans on
our southern border and ideas (like socialized medicine) from Canada on our
northern border. You are the one that attaches racism to the mere mention
of Mexicans and Canadians. I have nothing against either except that I want
Mexicans here legally and the Canadians can keep their socialistic ideas. I
want the Japanese and Germans (car makers) and Indians to stop stealing
our jobs, too. If that makes me a racist, I can live with it.

Alienated......Okay, it's just you and me sitting down for a chat.  I say to you, "are your racist?".  Do you like hispanics, blacks, Chinese, Canadians, How about the French?  Do you like the French?  How do you feel about Muslims who are not radical? I'd even like to know how you feel about Catholics? Could you just talk to me like we are having a friendly chat without going into a spill that you heard on the radio and TV?

No one likes Hispanics, blacks, Chinese, Canadians, or the French. That is like
    saying you like "everyone".

Alienated.....I just now read your blog, thank you for posting the link.....whatever happened to hate the sin but not the sinner.

In the greek translation, hate simply means an "absence" of love.....We are to love everybody, because everyone is God's Children throught creation, we are all one, we are part of the father, he blew his breath into Adam and Adam became a living breathing soul, we all are part of God (thru his spirit)....some may not have found their way back to him yet, but we are all one of his.

The bible also says that we are not to judge another man's servant.....when you judge anyone, you are judging God, because he goes on to say that isn't the master responsible for his own servant?

God has charge of us all, whether we recognize his authority in our lives or not. Those of us who know the truth, and even if I disagree with you on many things,  I do believe you know the truth, need to submit our minds, attitudes, prejudices, etc to the authority of God thru his son Jesus Christ.

Thank you, I have enjoyed this chat....come again...when you are not talking so much politics, I don't think you and I are that much different at all.  We both love the word of God, and I truly believe we both love God and that we are servants of our Lord Jesus, Christ.

    Thank you again.

  • ALIENated said on Feb 15, 2008....
I get along with most everyone because I am a Christian. I give people a lot of
rope. If they hang themselves, I shake the dust off my shoes and move on. Do
not think me blasphemous, but I am a lot like Jesus. When I talk, I am usually
talking to everyone, not just one person. So never take anything I say
personally unless the shoe fits. Even then, I could care less whether you
    wear it.

Hey Alien, just a quick note from a Canadian, we had more americans come to Canada last year than go south, yes we have socialistic programs but a right wing government, we dont live in igloo's or eat whale blubber, are your biggest supplier of oil and your biggest trading partner. take the good with the bad just like we do from the USA

Is it just me, or do we still not have the right candidate running?  Here we are going into the Party Conventions, and I don't feel totally positive about anyone. Like who really wants to be president anyway. Our best people stay clear of politics, it would seem.
