I don't usually watch ESPN, but the other night, I heard my husband yell, from the other room, "Quick!  Put it on ESPN.  You gotta see this!"

Now, I am a dyed-in-the-wool card carrying scaredy cat, so I never had the dream of strapping myself in my wheelchair and go flying down a steep ramp so I'd do a flip.  I can't even ride a rollercoaster without having an anxiety attack.

Still, this gave me goosebumps.  This kid, Aaron Fotheringham, dreamed he could fly, and by God, he did it!

Way to go, Aaron!

miss mimi -- i guess one factor is that he's young. combination of physical strength and light body weight. and young people are so confident of themselves, which is a plus factor. but still, someone like aaron doing a flip on a ramp -- it *is* amazing.

i'll get back to this later this evening when my internet speed improves. the youtube vid clip is taking forever to load right now... :-(

Mimi ~ that was pretty amazing but like moon said...he is young and doesn't have the fear ~ that experience that comes with age.

*GRINS* Thanks so much for posting that. It's really wonderful to see someone have a dream and really GO for it, even if it IS insanely dangerous. *laughs* I guess if you want to do something badly enough, fear isn't a factor in the least. X3; Thanks so much, again. All the Best.

"Do not become your doubts," he said quietly.
