We went to the mall to buy some candles. He said "do you want to go the jewelry store?" I said "sure why not". I thought we were just going to look. He asked the clerk about wedding rings. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. We went to every jewelry store in the mall. I found what I wanted and he bought it! I was shocked and happy at the same time!
Now we have to plan how to do this and when. I want all of my kids here when we do it. One of my daughters lives almost 600 miles away and they don't have a lot of $ but if they know far enough in advance they can do it. I am leaning towards Easter weekend or maybe the week my granddaughter is out for spring break.
Talk about happy! I haven't been this happy in a very long time.
I won't have the ring for 10 days though because they have to size it. I think that disappointed him. That's okay, I can wait. I have to wait until we get married to wear it anyway. If it's not here, I won't want to wear it.
