Ok. I hear you! And I am complying! =)
It's time to give a name to the 500 lb. gorilla in the room. His name is . . . . "Change"
Change is inevitable. He's always going to be around, making an APE of himself. ;~P Stealing things and hiding them, for the fun of it. Demanding attention and wreaking havoc, when that tactic suits his fancy. Creating chaos and and springing surprises when he's bored. Throwing a wrench into the spokes, so no one can move their unicycle until the wrench is removed. He thinks that stuff is amusing. Heck, everyone thinks that stuff is amusing, except the one experiencing it. (Barnum & Bailey have been famous for years creating and recreating the "circus".)
Accept it or not, my goal in life is to learn as I grow. I attempt to grow gracefully. Notice I said attempt.
Sometimes I need to back away from the circus, so I can gain perspective, put what I've learned into catagories, and therefore, put it to good use.
Sometimes, I need some time away, just to get some PEACE. And to see the peace that's already there, but I'm just not noticing because of that change-ape.
Often times that takes putting the past into the garbage, where it belongs, and starting over, with a newly washed, clean, slate! I see that as wisdom. It works for me. It allows me to start the next adventure, with my newly learned items tucked neatly into my belt.
No one pushed me. No one forced me. It was my decision to back away. And, I did it for peace, in a way I thought would be the most peacefull. And all I did was back away. I didn't GO away. You're not that lucky! =)
I hope this will suffice, encourage, educate, and console. As well as put an end to the rumors circulating around.
