According to SoulCast's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy - yes.
In the Terms of Use, article 7 H clearly states that members should not "Include in your Member profile any telephone number, street address, last name, URL, or email address."
By keeping that info out of your "About Me" box and posts, you're one person among billions, anywhere in the world.
In the Privacy Policy, SoulCast states "We do not collect personal information, including email addresses. We do not collect or maintain logs of our users' IP addresses and information regarding our users' use of our website and services."
So what does that mean? By not keeping personal information, SoulCast employees can't sell your email address to spammers. If a hacker did somehow get into the SoulCast server trying to find you, they just wasted their time because your IP address isn't stored. All a court order will get from SoulCast is all your postings and user name - which they could have just as easily gotten by visiting your blog page.
And if that wasn't enough for you, they tell you how to really hide online.
So what does that add up to? Uncensored blogging. Freedom of Speech. Privacy.
