I'm trying not to let my head swell too big. :-D
People are starting to find me through search engines, mostly Google so far. Interestingly enough, I had several today related to toe loss. I had thought that maybe I was writing too much about that, but maybe I'm not. Foot care is a big thing if you are diabetic.
Today my topic for a post there was about irritability I'm facing when I get off of my eating schedule. You can go here to read about it at my other blog if that is interesting to you.
This morning I mixed up a new batch of my specially made foot cream that I add essential oils to. This time I used a tube of cream for calluses that was in the cabinet just to use it up. It blended very well with the oils. I may use it again in the future if I like the results as well as the usual vitamin e cream I normally use as the carrier for my oils. My feet get dry in the winter if I don't stay on top of things. (Sounds like a bud of an idea for another foot post on my other blog.)
I'm getting so many ideas for the other blog that I'm going to have to start a list of things to write about. It will be handy on days when my creativity is low. I'm also trying to figure out how to get my ads to display at the top of the posts instead of at the bottom. That should be a very simple change but I am danged if I have been able to figure that one out yet. Rest assured that I'll keep digging around in the "help" section until I get it.
My desk drawers got a good de-cluttering this afternoon. I had kept research from articles I had written several years ago and I gave them the pitch. I got current things in file folders and space cleared off my desk to tackle the final push on the farm books for 2007. I've got 2008 rolling. Now I need to get my end of the year report ready for the accountant to do the taxes.
An AVON order was due today. So, I got that placed. I sold another red ruffle dress like I bought. You wouldn't believe it, but it was to my sister. We laughed and decided that we live far enough apart that it is safe to have the same dress. I promised I would never wear mine in her territory. :-)
I foiled an AVON related scam this morning. Someone claiming to be a model in a foreign land sent me an email through my website link. She wanted me to give her my address so her "USA Agent" could send me a money order for items she wanted shipped there. I told her that I would be happy to serve her but her "USA Agent" would have to purchase by credit card through my website and provide shipping directions there. I'm sure that's the last I'll here of that. This is the second scam email I've gotten like that. They try to hoodwink me into sending products out that I will never get paid for. The other wanted to send their personal shipping service to me to pick up a large amount of product. I never heard anymore from them after I directed them to order through my website and take advantage of free shipping. You really have to keep on top of things. There are scam artists everywhere.
I managed to squeeze in washing some dishes along in there somewhere.
Now I'm drinking some iced tea with the original Dirty Harry movie on in the background. Did I ever tell you I used to have dreams that I was Dirty Harry's partner? I was one fighting chick. :-) Perhaps I'll tell you more about that in another post sometime.
