Me-Myself&I's tags:
It's being a herbalist, healer, naturalist. It is a way of embracing nature and having a relationship with Mother Earth. I walk a green path.

I use natural elements to improve my well-being. To balance my body(me), mind(myself), and spirit(I). I work with plants, herbs, trees, stones, crystals and animals. *smile*

Living and walking the green way is a challenge in today's world. With all the mass industrialization and environmental changes. It is hard to find the elements i need in my Craft. You just don't walk into any ol woods these days.

Living the green way is a way of life, not like ritual magic, or spell-casting. The magic comes from interacting with my surroundings and feeling the energy that Mother Earth offers.

A green witch uses natural energies to get an end result. To understand how energy of Nature affects my life.Harmonizing my life with the energy of Nature. It's on a personal, spiritual level. The energy is divine and real!

Like the day i witness a deer chasing a fox. In my world i knew that the Heavens were telling me something. I read up on the "sign" that i had seen and it said....To beware of a friend who is about to deceive you. ok?....lo and behold a couple of days later a long time friend did just that. Which ended our relationship right then and there. Yes, it was that bad.

Or, there are times when Nature reminds me to stay connected to my spiritual side. By sending a raven, crow to see me. Screaming at me to reconnect! Where ever i've been Nature connects with me.

A green witch is like a magnet, drawing Nature's power to themselves. Creating changes in a magic way. This power is your four basic ones Earth, Air, Fire, Water. This power is not to be underestimated. Magic is a natural phenomenon!

I do acknowledge my Goddess and God. In my mind and heart, you can't have one without the other.

I practice in solitary.I am a kitchen witch, a green witch. The green path i stay on is rewarding. Nature is my guide.

Whatever obstacles that may haunt me in my life. I do know how to work and harness the energies of my enviroment to help me achieve balance once again.

Like my heart-shaped necklace, made out of Sodalite. It helps to relieve stress, helps me sleep, controls my anger and settles down my negative thinking. I change my necklace according to my needs.

I never thought i'd be talking about my beliefs so opening. For the whole world to see.
But here I am, confessing my love for my green way of living.    *smile*

What a beautiful spiritual path, MM&I! You know, modern-day Druids are not so different. ;-) This is fascinating, and I thank you for sharing it with us.

This is a great post :-) I believe in animal spirit guides. This may sound weird, but whenever I'm feeling particularly lonely or confused about something, I'll see ducks somewhere. And usually it's a pair of them. A mallard and a female. And they just appear. Usually in a strange place too, where you wouldn't normally ducks. Like in a mud puddle!

I think it's cool you decided to share all of this with us. It's a great way of life :-)

I am only just recently learning about all of this stuff and getting into it. I love it though! You know how it feels when you just find something that fits? I'm excited to learn more :) And I'm happy you posted this! There is no reason to be worried about what people think. I know several people who follow this path and they are my favorite people in the world :)

i love when people describe their belief systems, especially when they're not of the 'wasp' variety that has for so long oppressed and ridiculed those beliefs as somehow being inherently evil. personally, in my studies both from inside and outside of that particular faith, i've found that it's the competition that they were afraid of. but i commend you and anyone else who will openly write about their faith, what it means to you, what the elements of it are, and how it affects your daily life. i hope more and more people will read posts like this, and feel safe to write about their own belief systems because of them.

Battycat ~ thank you ! yep, i didn't know how to really go about this.  i'm following my notes i've written down, things that i agree with. it is hard to explain ....beliefs. not the rituals or definitions. now the rest of the story will be easier. it's all text book stuff. but i wanted to explain what the Craft meant to me first. i was alittle "choppy" leaving out somethings. but i'm alittle fearful of totally opening up my  heart and soul on being a green witch. don't forget they have burnt witches at the stake....lol...i'm kidding. thank you so much for stopping by! (hug) see ya

Destiny ~ thanks! we'll see! i've been reseaching my herbs today. that is what i want to post about next, since it is one of my main focus, living the green way. i lost soooo many books and notes in my fire. but it's fun doing a do over! :~) see ya *smile*

Nursecutie ~ there's a web site....www.susunweed.com   go check her out. she is a wisewoman, she teaches healing and spiritual green ways. she is my kind of folks. her courses cost, i just go to follow. to read and watch her web. anyway, thank you so much for stopping by. take care.

Travelr ~ i can't remember when i didn't believe as i do. even before i read anything about Wiccan ways or a Goddess. i know that everything we all need to improve our lives is here on Mother Earth! i have had family members "nail" me for my beliefs. they swear i'm going to hell. i don't think so!!! i'm sure of that. *smile* so i quess i'm just conditioned to feeling as i do. but....i'm working thru it by writing it here so all can see. thanks! see ya

  • travelr712 said on Feb 03, 2008....
you're not going to hell me, don't worry about that. the 'powers that be', as it were, are broad enough, wise enough, and enlightened enough to support many different perspectives. it's important to them that as many areas as possible are covered. you have chosen yours, and it's a path you believe you should follow, and that makes it just as right and blessed as any other path. hopefully soon, the prejudice against beliefs like yours, or any others that don't 'conform', will be exposed and eradicated. until then, keep picking flowers. they're beautiful and sweet, just like you :-)
  • Me-Myself&I said on Feb 03, 2008....
*SMILE* i do research the history of my beliefs. people would be "shock" to know the "facts". it confirms my feelings. my path is the correct way for me! i am not ashamed, i just don't need any bad words against me or my ways when it comes to my spirituality. i've heard enough to last a lifetime. but thank you for your kind words! see ya

Ooooh sorry, got back a bit late!

A blogger here in SC told me she was wicca (she no longer blogs here, but we exchange E-mails).  Until then, I only have read about it in novels - it fascinated me thoroughly, and have not much information about it (my ex-blogger friend and I discussed other topics - she is a pilot teacher with two young kids!).  I never thought it really existed.

I am glad I will get more information from you MM&I!  I like it when I can have a dialogue with someone directly about subjects that interests me.

    I will check the link!

    Have a nice week <3
