I know I am far from perfect, I know that I need to concentrate on making myself the best person I can be and it is folly for an imperfect individual to talk about changing the world when they, themselves have big creases to iron out... however I can not wait for all my faults to vanish before I become an active participant in the world.

I believe that we are all capable and responsible participants in our global society. I also believe that our world is not in a healthy state and is in desperate need of some Tikkun Olam. Therefore, one of the things I find myself investing my life in is trying to heal certain parts of the world that I know most about.

How active are you in healing *your* world? :)

this is a marvelous question, pepperman!

i'm sad to say that i don't do nearly as much as i could, owing to several things but ultimately, b/c i have not yet dedicated myself to that. and i should change that. for that reminder, thank you.

yes very true... healing should be now not later when we are 'perfect'. *cough*

i've been feeling this way for a while now and recently amped up my recycling and i have managed to cut the household waste by 1/3. I have a compost bin which is working!

i eat more raw juices and foods and my energy level is way more higher than it was before that..

i tend to concentrate on inner healing, healing myself as i believe that we start with us first and we can then influence others more positively. EXCEPT that i also try to help as needed also. whenever the urge moves me.

    nice post pepperman.
