I started a new knitting project. I knitted and knitted a whole afternoon to find the gauge and then I did not understand the instructions of the pattern well so I tried for two whole days. Well I got it and I started. I had done some of the pattern when I realized that I should knit around and always do the patten on the front so once again after two days of knitting I am starting again. Now I am bushed so I stopped. I had only one the front side and I left the back.

I went to my music school today. Last year I started by a new teacher. He got very sick after Christmas last year and had to have a pacemaker put in him, twice.

He came back in March and I had my old teacher until then. Now when my last lesson was over before Christmas I said and don't get ill. Well he did get ill with an ear infection and I have had an other teacher since we came back after Christmas. I used to take piano lessons with her years ago.

I've not practiced after Christmas because of all this.
I went to mum's today as usually. Yesterday I took a walk before I went in and I´ll see if I can put some of the pictures I took in the post. When I was walking I came into a street that I have never been in. I am putting a picture of that street. I could walk in the middle of the street. It was so quiet there. I have seen the houses from the other side and that is not a quiet street at all.   My city is not so big so it was strange to be there not having been there before. . At least I though I knew the old town. There houses where I was are all gray and that is not very common here but there are parts like that. That is more like Britain I think. This street is on the last photo. Thanks for reading my nonsense.

Yes, that street does look very quiet.  I do find it odd that you actually went on a street you never visited before!  The rest of the photos look like here... snow and cold.

It looks so cold there, Skald!  What does "Skeggiagata" mean?  I think I spelled it right, I can barely make it out on a sign in the first picture.
The second picture reminds me of the backyard of my old house in New Jersey in the winter.  My neighbor had a dog house that looked just like that little shed.  Now I'm all nostalgic for New Jersey...*sniff*...

Quiet.  yes in the old town but now there are so many new parts that I hardly keep track of any more.
Twy.  Yes it is cold. It is a hard winter and we haven't had such winters for  years. Skeggjagata. skeggi is a mans name, actually from the old sagas and gata is street. Related to the old word gate. The street of Skeggi. I bet it was good in New Jersey.

i'm surprised you had trouble w/ the pattern, skald, as i know you're an experienced knitter. was the pattern somehow in error or explained poorly?

I sympathize skald about spending a lot of time trying to figure out a pattern.  sometimes they are just very poorly written.  Glad you figured it out.  What are you making?

It looks very cold and snowy.  Like looking out my own front window.

Ed.  It was explained poorly. Or at least I did not understand the icons or pictures that were to indicate what to do.
Mimi.  I´m making a jumper for Freyja, my granddaughter and she chose this one herself out of a pattern book.

Yes it is very cold and snowy. Seems like it is over there in the states too.

Skald:  I'm so sorry about your knitting fiasco.  I was going to ask if I could have you make one for Little Daily and I'd buy it from you.

As always, I LOVE your pictures!  I'm wondering like secret is.  Is it an outhouse or outbuilding?

I hope your visit with your Mum was better than last week.

Secret.  No this is not a storage shed. This is a kid's hut. Some kid has built this.
MMI. Me. Yes at least I can show you my town this way.
Daily.  It´s OK I've started again.  Sorry I can't possibly knit for others. I'm too much of a perfectionist to trust me to do that. Sorry.   The little building is something a kid has done. A hut for him or her self. Yes my visits with mum have been going well lately. Thank you

    ((((((Hugs))))))  to you all.
