I dont' know about you, but I am sick and tired of getting emails that tell me:
"I can satisfy my girlfriend with a bigger d*ck" - okay, first of all, I don't have that particular appendage being female myself; second of all does anybody believe this really works?
or
"I can get free pharmaceuticals - including all host of oxycodeine, viagra, anti-depressants, etc. all without a prescription" - again, do people realize that none of this is regulated and that they are probably only getting aspirin in bottle which is mislabled?
or
my friends who send me the chain emails which tell me that I have to send this out to 15 people or else I will have bad luck for the rest of my life.
or
the emails which tell me I will get cancer from roll on deoderant; women are being attacked by perfume weilding psychopaths in parking lots, that Bill Gates will pay me for every email I forward or the one about the little girl/boy who has been missing since the dawn of time and if you send this to everyone you know they will be found - all of which you can find out that are hoaxes if you just go to Hoax.com or any of the other debunking sites out there.
or finally, the following (of which I receive about 3 of them a week!)
FROM MADAM Elian Clement
COTE D'IVOIRE,ABIDJAN.
IVORY COAST.
Dearest One,
I am Mrs. Elian Clement from Ivory Coast. I am a widow being that I lost my husband a couple of months ago. My husband was a serving director of the Cocoa exporting board until his death.
He was assassinated last january by the rebels following the political uprising. Before his death
he has account in a bank here in Côte d´Ivoire, having up to the sum of $18M which he told the bank was for the importation of cocoa processing machine.
I want you to do me a favour to receive this funds to a safe account in your country or any safer place as the beneficiary.
Thanks and best regards.
Mrs.Elian Clement.
I am almost amazed that this one is still out there - which obviously means that someone is being taken advantage of. Are people still THAT stupid?
They have a great commercial on TV in my area to warn people of internet scams - it's a guy sitting down next to this woman on a bus saying the exact same thing that the above *letter* says - with the tag, and I am paraphrasing - If you wouldn't believe it in real life, why would you on line.
