Four posts in a row and zero responses?! Whats going on around here? I don't think I have ever experienced such a dry spell......how about you? Ever have one?

yeah, i've had them D6......it's very quiet in here.i've been reading more the past week, and kind of catching up ....noticed there were some nasty posts again. you'd be surprised, but this makes alot of people withdraw. i mean who really wants to come to a place that's filled with all that ugliness? there's enough tension in our lives without coming online to get it.so....yes i've seen the slowdowns.i'm sure people will take breaks and return when they feel it 'safe'.... -

I experience frequent (constant?) freeze-outs of mind set, but I can't complain as I am not a political blogger. (too uniformed, sadly) but I dang sure wish I wasn't sometimes)I just finally give it up and eat and go to bed....sick, ain't it? I think what I need is "Politics For Dummies." Then I might have something to say. Because, given the chance, I just might.Can someone just post the simple facts? As in 3 reasons to vote for each candidate, and 3 reasons for not voting for them? I haven't actually been here very much the last couple of days... I think maybe a total of half an hour over two three days?? so that explains that I guess and I can't really comment much on US politics....
I'm a busy beaver, editing, fun stuff so the internet takes a back seat... so when i get on I have a quick look at my interests, then recent posts (time differences mean its usually quiet when I get on anyway) and then I'm off again, like now..

I noticed that, too Mr6. The person I mentioned it to said the same thing Secret said...people were disgusted with the drama and/or don't want to post for fear of becoming a target. That can't be right, can it? Are people really so afraid of incurring Hottip's wrath or seeing an anonymous comment from some brain-dead moron that they'll stop communicating with their friends, other than pms or email?
Nah, I don't believe that. I think it's like Zayda said..sometimes you just have nothing to say.
I lead such a boring life that I have nothing interesting to post, and I can't read and comment much anymore because my vision isn't as good as it should be at the moment (f*!#?^% trifocals!). But, before anyone has the chance to say "thank god she's gone!", I'll get used to them, hopefully.
Ya know what we need here? We need a silly, mindless game to play, that's what we need!
We need Pickersplock or Destiny or Polarheart or Wombie to take us all out to the playground for some totally irrelevant fun!
If I could think of something like that I'd do it, but the best I can come up with is....

I've definitely noticed how quiet it is here lately. I do think that the current atmosphere here is a bit uncomfortable for a lot of people. Plus, others just have other stuff going on I guess and are too busy to blog. There have been times when I'd normally stop in here and there would be a ton of people commenting, and now the only name I see in the conversations tab is my own! I hope people come out of hiding soon.
