I have a bad problem of being to busy to eat. I know it's not healthy, but I just don't have time to get breakfast or lunch. I have to work straight through in order to get everything done. It's really not good for m either, cause if I'm hungry I get distracted easily and I have a short temper, which makes it even harder for me to work. I just can't make the time to eat though. Any suggestions?

    If you like peanut butter (and aren't allergic to peanuts) this might work for you:


    As you are getting ready for work in the morning, pop an English Muffin or bread in a toaster. When it pops out of the toaster, spread a half a tablespoon of peanut butter on it.


    It's actually quick, easy to eat, and quite filling.


    If you shower in the morning, put an egg on to boil just before you get in the shower. It will be hard boiled by the time you are out of the shower--in about 12-15 minutes. They are fairly easy and quick to eat.


    Or slap a couple of pieces of cheese on bread and broil them in the oven to melt the cheese and toast the bread. It takes about 2 minutes, but you do have to find a way to keep a bit of an eye on it so you don't burn them under the broiler.


    If you can eat at work (at your desk), then perhaps take some small packets of snack crackers, granola bars, trail mix, or peanuts with you and leave them in your desk. That will at least get you some nourishment during the day.

    i grab fruit, cause i can eat it at my desk without stopping (which isn't really so good for you, but i do the exact same thing you do alot of the time)-- grapes, apples, bananas- just something you can grab, eat, and not make a huge mess with-
     
    also things like cup of soup that you can microwave, or instant oatmeal.
    i also like granola or any kind of yogurt.

I think I could live off of soup. It's one of favorite dishes all year round. After the holidays I always find I turn to soup to help un-tilt the scales. So, I was wondering......
