Who would you give your award to as the greatest football player of all time? I can think of a few people I'd nominate. Jim Brown, fullback. Jerry Rice, wide receiver. Lawrence Taylor, linebacker. There were a few offensive left tackles that always took the defender opposite them out of the game. Too many quarterbacks to settle on one. I'm tempted to nominate Barry Sanders, except why did his own coach pull him out of the game near the end zone so often? Maybe because the coach was an idiot, huh? Might have something to do with why his Lions sucked - idiot coaching. I think my top QB would have to be from the Denver Broncos, though I wasn't a fan. Seems he always pulled out a fourth quarter win every time I was looking.
