Island on Swift acreage

I caught this on the web and thought it was beautiful!

What could be more relaxing than an island right on your own property? Here, a wooden footbridge leads to an island in the pond on David and Martha Swift's property near Lake Michigan's eastern shore, and six Adirondack chairs facing the water welcome visitors. One frequent visitor is a blue heron, who enjoys fishing for bass, bluegill and catfish from the island's shore.

    candy - hello ya lucky devil! could I ask what an Adirondack chair is? Is it what we here in Australia call a deck chair? wooden frame with canvas seat,for want of a better word? You can lay back in them. The canvas is usually colored,often strips?
