Mood: grateful, 250 Views my heart is over filled with pride and joy.

sometimes our negative feelings are so much easier to express than our positive ones, but that doesn’t make them any less real….but today my feelings of joy, happiness, and pride were so overwhelming it brought tears to my eyes….and i feel that i need to attempt to express them.

Joy:

in life we are given many, many opportunities, but most are never taken which is a very sad fact. on the other hand, when you are given a great opportunity and you accept it, truly and fully accept it….well that is in it’s self is a most joyous occasion. it doesn’t matter if you fail or succeed, what is important is that you took a chance on something great.

Pride:

this one is a bit harder to express, at least on here and in words, but i will try, for i believe in this case it needs to be….the pride i am feeling comes from my getting to know someone new and the fact that not only do i believe they are a great person but so do their friends and they’re not afraid to let you know…i guess what i am trying to say and not doing a very good job of it is this:

a person can hide their true nature from you but they can not hide their friends, and ones relationship with those friends will reveal their true nature.
So when someone has friends that are loyal, caring, protective and have nothing but great things to say about them…then you can feel very confidante that they are a truly great person, one to be proud to say you know and call friend or more…
