  Yes wouldn't it be too fun to work with this!  There was a lot of info on the web about this, but most geometry and that is way over my head!! I am a simple math kind of person...so if there were a software program that did the hard work...oh the fun I would have!!!

  thanks vacant, but, that too looks like way over my head.  did you have to use a "formula" to do this?  It is pretty cool.  You did that rather fast!!

  No, there is preset images in the software and it does the calculations for you. It is simple to come up with a basic image. It will take awhile I think to master the program though but for basic images it is rather simple.

  I saw on one web site that a person had used photoshop to make one, it was a more complicated one too.  I will have to look around or have someone explain it all to me step by step.  I am kinda dumb that way .....LOL

  I prefer to have my dumb moments in private. So, I just jump in and figure it out. There is alot of freeware out there, so take your time. If you come across a really good one let me know.

  lucy ~ I saw part of some formula made to make these...ouch it hurt my little brain!  haha...I prefer the "law of easy" myself!

  MM&I ~ yes I thought of that myself hehe! If you find any more info on an "easy" way (like staples easy button) let me know.  I'd love to play!

  Alyss ~ I will go check out your friends art for sure.  Ask him/her if there is a "program" an easy one to understand for beginners like myself.  I would love to learn this.

  alyss ~ I see your friends - they are AWESOME too!! I see he/she uses photoshop a lot. It must have some "easy" program in there?  Can you find out?  I would invest in photoshop software if it does.  I like playing with photos etc in that too.....thanks for sharing that link! wow!

  hey quiet. here's a website with some free fractal generators if you would care to look. i haven't tried any of them, but they might be what you're looking for. btw, if you are using WinXP, you can go to your desktop properties screensaver tab and select either bezier or mystify. these are both rendered from a simple fractal generator.
