Hi Guys. I haven't had any time or inclination to sit down at my computer and actually form thoughts, hence my absense. Just an update on thangs. For the first time since July of 2005 I have health insurance. This is incredibly exciting because I can't afford crap. So starting on January first I am now reaping the benefits of an HMO. Fabulous! Since then I have found a new doctor, gone to one check up during which I was given a new prescription to try to help me sleep. Sometimes it works. Not the last two nights.
I also had my (supposed to be) yearly woman's exam otherwise known as the appointment from hell. At that appointment my doctor located lumps in both of my breasts. So at the ripe old age of 27 I had to go and have a mammogram done. I really was looking forward to another 13 years free of boobie-squishing. It was not meant to be. I don't like having a mammo done. It is not fun or comfortable. And to top it off I had to have it done where I work. Luckily the test was negative but now I have to have ultrasounds just to make sure. We only have two male ultrasound techs where I work and so I will be definitely going elsewhere for that.
I had three million vials of blood drawn and had I not died from blood loss I would be completely healthy. At least as far as my blood goes.
I've been to the eye doctor because my contacts were irritating my eyes something fierce. My eyes were swollen and itching and hurt. Talk about headaches. So my brand spankin' new eye doc got me in quick. I ordered glasses and new contacts which will hopefully be coming in next week. I have a follow up appointment on Feb 2. Had to pick a doc that's open on Saturday cuz I hate taking off of work.
I got my W-2's back and have an appointment with someone to get my taxes done this morning. Love Saturday appointments, baby. Which brings me to the exciting part of the last few weeks. The New Wedding. If I get a decent amount of money back on my taxes I will feel okay about getting the wedding dress that I want:

I love this dress because it comes in blue, which is our color, instead of black. It's gorgeous and I love it.
We have begun making the new plans for the wedding. I found a beautiful bed and breakfast in southern Colorado that had wedding packages. It's located on the edge of a national forest. The rooms are amazing. The wedding package is to die for. It includes the minister (who is Irish! I love it!), the ceremony with music or we can bring our own, up to 16 guests, champagne, the photographer, the wedding cake, and my bouquet. Our new wedding date is June 29, 2008. We will be getting married at two o'clock in the afternoon surrounded by friends and family. It will be an outdoor wedding which we both want. And we are honeymooning there for eight nights.
I'm starting to get good at this but it's wearing me out.
The only thing left to do is finish saving money, buy the dress, and chose what cake and flower arrangements I want. Okay. I think I've already found what I want. Here are three cakes that I like:

and the bouquets I like:
My favorite! Only with blue instead of purple flowers.

So that's been my life for the last two weeks or so. I'm tired.
How are you?
