my vision of heaven...
I approach the pearly gates and God's first words to me are "About damn time you answered my call!"
My response would be hearty laughter and a grin. We'd look into each other's eyes and all would be still and calm.
He'd lead me through the gates of heaven and an alternate universe
would be on the other side. A huge party would be happening and we'd be
instantly greeted and given anything we wanted within reason.
God would be just like any other person in this alternate universe. A
normal human being. One that is not treated any differently from me and
the next person.
We'd dance and laugh and seize the new life we all have been given in this alternate universe.

but what if this alternate universe is really the one we currently reside in and we choose not to see it?
if the universe we inhabit now is this vision of heaven, shouldn't we choose to see it?
or shall we deny that is even possible?
do we have to see this universe, this life, as hell on earth?
no. we don't. life is all about choices. we should choose to see this
heaven here on earth. and envision the afterlife to be a continuation
of the joys we share here on earth.
