Its been terrible today, the wind has howled, my windows are moaning, and the loft hatch is rattling.

The garden is a mess, bird feeders, bird baths and pots strewn everywhere, I've been out once or twice to try and clear up, but with so much flying debris, including my roof tiles, it's a bit scary! I did notice my snowdrops are up though, *sigh* a sign of spring :-) I'm really hoping my bluebells come up this year as well.

Then this afternoon I set off for the stables, I had to change my route twice due to fallen trees, but I eventually got there in one piece! The horses were more wound up in their box's than out, so I've left them out, I always feel happier when they're out, I worry about the stable roofs blowing off,  and  them  being  trapped inside.

wow that sounds like terrible weather.  I would be battening down the hatches and staying under cove!  It is very cold here, but sunny.

HIi ed and quietone, how did you manage to post while I was editing? I was trying to get that silly pic to work :-) No the writing looks tiny.

Yep it was a bit scary today, although normally I love the wind, it was just a bit too much today :-D
