Finding a job here in my country is so hard...and to think i'm a physician... a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician. This is the main reason why many doctors shift to studying nursing and go abroad to find work there. I don't blame them; other countries give them more opportunities to earn. Sometimes, I also get tempted of seeking jobs abroad like for instance, in australia. Physicians there get more compensation. They are supported by human rights and when they retire they have pension. Here in the philippines, what do we get....Nothing! no support from the government...no added benefits... nothing... not even an exemption from traffic coding rules. Well, i hope someday the philippine government would give some kind of credit to us doctors...i hope they wouldgive us some benefits we deserve.
