short version: today marks the tenth birthday of mozilla firefox, the open source software alternative to IE. happy birthday, firefox! long version here.
commentary: while i personally favor opera, there are fewer compatibility issues using firefox and it’s the browser i have to use when browsing at ESPN—which for some irretrievably stupid reason is configured specifically for IE—but it’s still a better browser than IE. :>

Yes, thank goodness for Mozilla. It is my browser of choice.
IE sucks! It has always sucked.
Many moon ago I used the original Netscape and it was good for that point and time. It never seemed to grow up, improve, add important features. Then AOL got a hold of Netscape and everything went to hell in a hand basket.
I thank the heavens for pointing me to Mozilla. Actually, it was one of my professors in grad school--but he thought he was god. LOL.
