Every now and then in life you change.....it may come gradually....or suddenly....hit's you over the head....life blind sides you....and you are forced to change.

This post started out to be about pancakes....no really.....some of you may know that I have worked as a chef.....have owned my own cafe at one time....I love to cook....so yeah....pancakes.....I can make them from scratch, but to be honest, I use the mix most of the time....it's easy....tastes great.....why bother, right?....I used to be a krusteaz guy.....but have switched to bisquick.....it's just flat out better....but...I digress.

This past year, life has forced me to change......no Ed....I'm not becoming more liberal ;p.
But, changed nonetheless. 

I have learned that as a parent, you only have so much control.....you can do your best, but they are going to do or be what they want to do or be....not all situations are what they seem......I still believe that too many parents have abandoned their post, but in the end, we are all responsible for ourselves.....even our kids.....there comes a time when they are forced to make decisions, and they won't always make the best ones....but then again....haven't we all been there?
