Yes, i was born in Roma but i studied English at school and at the university so when i met my future husband i already knew some English.....but i was too shy to speak so our first dates have been quite intersting.......he was trying to speak in Italian while i was determined of not speaking in English at all...lol....
But we got over it.....he is American .....now its 12 years i am in the States....my daughter was born in Italy as well but when we moved she was only 6 months old so basically her mother language is moreEnglish than Italian even though she speaks and unertands Italian pretty good....if not fluently..
How Olia is doing in learning English?.
