I applied to go back and get a college degree.. Scary as hell.. I have been out of high school for almost 20 years. These old bones cant take the manual labor forever though.. Accounting fits me to a teeeeeeee. This is the sixth happiest day of my life.. 1st would be my first date with my wife,2nd would be the day we got married the 3rd 4th and 5th would be the days my kids were born. (conceived)just kidding. boy its been a long time since ive been in class

If you don't mind me saying so as someone who has been teaching at the college level for nearly 17 years now (including the time I taught while in grad school), adult returning students make some of the best students. That adult perspective on education really can make a great difference in the classroom.
I've always really enjoyed the adult returning students who are in my classes.

Good for you....You really are never too old to learn...I know it's a little scarry but that's normal....I remember way back in the day when I was a pre-fresh at Central Michigan University...I was scared too...
