A news story today about a few towns in Texas where a number of people claim to have seen something about a mile big with lots of lights on it in the sky. Many people cannot figure out what the heck it is and are claiming it is a UFO.
Question: Do you believe that there is intelligent life "out there?"
From my point of view, the thought that we are the only intelligent life in the cosmos smacks of pure egotism. Granted, we have not found life on other planets we have been to, but we have only begun to scratch the surface of how far into space we can go.
I think that there may be life somewhere "out there", billions of light years away, that we cannot get to with our technology. However, if they can get to us with theirs, think about how much more advanced and technologically savvy they must be.
I wonder if they know about our technology (computers, I-phones, internet, yada yada,) and just laugh at the primitiveness of it. These were things they probably had thousands of years ago.
So kids - whatcha think? Is there life "out there?"
