It's all about knowing what tags you can wrap in [ ] to do all the fun things. And how to close them! Grrr...
Soulcast very nicely gives you a link to formatting options that tell you just how to do
- italics
- bold
- underline
- hyperlinks
- quotes
- and a plain list.
I'm not going to repeat what they say. But they didn't tell you everything yet, did they? Like colors. ^_^
To do colors, you wrap color=red in [ ] at the start - and don't forget to close it with /color or everyone's text will turn red. The colors are black, gray, maroon, red, purple, fuchsia, green, lime, olive, yellow, navy, blue, teal and aqua.
Or if you really want to be fancy, put in one of the hex color codes like this color=#cc00ff to get this, but again don't forget to close!/color - each tag wrapped in [ ] of course.
Try it. And if you're nesting colors like I am, don't forget to close each color you use!
