I have finished the cardigan which is done out of rests from mum. It has three kinds on brown colors and one yellow. This is the first time I´ve made a cardigan this way. I used the Icelandic method and cut it in the middle after having knitted it whole on a ring needle. I was afraid to do it but now I have mums sowing machine to sow two lines before you cut. You peal always in the middle and therefore you can sow the line straight. Well I am sitting in the cardigan now and it is really warm. I also found buttons that belonged to mum and were fitting for this garment.
It is maybe not the prettiest  cardigan but here are two pictures of it.

It's indeed lovely. You seemed to enjoy doing it so much in your earlier picture. I wish I could do this sort of thing.

Ooh skald!  I love it!  The colors all work well together.  I've never heard of cutting it after it's finished.  Is it hard to do?  How do you finish the edges?  Sorry for the questions but as you may remember, I am also a knitter, and I love learning about new techniques.

Me.  I'll remember medium haha  smile
    Queen.  Thanks queen.
    Carla.
Hi good to get to know you. Thank you.
Mimi. First I start and I go back and forth until i have made the rip. then i put 7 stitches on each side on a security pin. I have already done one button  hole. I now take the ring needle and I knit until I come somewhere under the arm. I do sleeves and I join them together with the knitting at a certain point. All the time I have knitted two pearls in the middled from where the two needles are. When I am almost done, I sow twice around the pearls and I cut. now I start from the 7 stitches which I kept on the security pins and I make the linings. I sow them on and hide the sowing from the machine. Then I make the collar. If you like some pattern books here is a link. They are in English.

Wow, I personally think it's beautiful, skald. Nice design and color combination. I was taught how to knit when I was younger a nice way to spend idle time, but I couldn't finish a project. Impatient me. lol

Fearing.  It is the one I was telling you about. Now I have started something for Þór. Oh yes it is very warm. Thanks ♥♥♥
Pickers.  So you are back again. I am happy to see you. Now I´ve started a new project and I´ve tired my self so out that I can't do anymore. I doubt that I can read blogs as I meant to do. But I will later. See you. ♥
