Ever wonder what it would be like to venture into a faraway kingdom where you are the hero?  What would you do?  What is at stake?

Child abuse is a prevalent issue in our society.  How would a parent react to being accused of such a horrible act?  You will find the answers to these questions and more in my epic young adult fantasy novel, "Cecil Chalmers and the Kingdom's Curse," which is set to come out  this spring.

About the book:

Studious Cecil Chalmers was the devoted student, the perfect son—and curious again because of the kingdom his brother reigns.  But the kingdom is falling apart, thanks to Fiori Hain, the mysterious death wizard.  But Cecil is the only one who can save Irwin Estates, the glorious castle atop the Mantaverin hills.  Against his better judgment, Cecil is led to the ill-fated kingdom, armed with his best defense—knowledge.  Little does he realize the dangers that await him as he is thrust into one of the worst disasters in human history—a 200-year-old curse looming over the kingdom of Irwin.

I will keep you posted on the status of the book, but if you're interested in this novel, send an email to shannon415@comcast.net
