I Heart Muh Necklace.

<33.

Spawned from the deepest of eternities
something so magical can never wear out.
Can it?
Fires enkindle the warmth that only two hundred suns burning at
their brightest intensity can measure.
Though in retrospect the darkest corner
can invade one's mind and rephrase every last word
in speculation to change your cries to screams.
Nothing can take this away.

I'll keep it safe. Lock and Key.

mikey wrote the text? netta, i think he has the promise of becoming a truly awesome writer.

now for your photos: i see your visual-arts strength not so much in the technique (i don't see how you actually shoot and enhance your pics anyway) but in the concept behind the images... you're particularly good in mixing image and text into one message, and in embedding visual symbols in your photos.

i don't see that here (the effective mix of image and text). but i see another good concept that you occasionally use... the sequence of shots to tell a story or to show different aspects. remember that sequence of shots with you and your friend walking thru a park, doing antics among the trees? that was excellent.

that technique is also at work here. but maybe you need to tie up the photo sequences to tell a story, or at least to give a stronger impression that there's a good story behind the pics. maybe more close-up pics? i don't really know. i'm not very good at this... lol.

((trying my darndest not to comment on your bare shoulders and your medusa... ))

I really like the first two shots of you and the necklace in your hand. I particularly like the angel of the first shot and how you capture the sweep of your hair from that angel. There's something fragile about the way you present yourself in that shot. Plus, the lighting adds to the angel of the shot and that sense of fragility, imho.

I'm honestly not so sure about the second shot with your eyes closed. It's a good capture, but there's something odd about the angel of your shoulder in that image. And I think the necklace in your mouth works better in the bottom shot where you have the necklace in your mouth. I think this has to do with the combination of the expression on your face and the way the necklace is caught by both your mouth and your hands as you are sweeping your hair with your hand.

I also like the pair of shots you have posted third. The one of the left is particularly interesting because of the way you are angeling your eyes. It almost reminds me of the way my son angels his eyes to see if he's going to get caught doing something that he knows he's not supposed to. Or the way he angels his eyes at me when he knows he's supposed to be listening to me but is trying to watch the television instead. (I don't know if that will make sense to you; it's a hard expression to capture in words...and maybe that's what's so great about you capturing it in a photograph.) But that photograph just really works well for me.

Sorry, I didn't comment sooner. Life has been busy with work and car shopping. I did come peek earlier, but had not much time for thoughtful comments.

Moon- Yes, Mikey is an amazing writer. I enjoy his stuff alot.
He also have me that necklace for christmas and I though they would be a perfect pair for a new photoshoot.
That explains a little more of what this shoot is about.

And thanks for the advice I will surely try and use it in my newest photoshoot I'm trying to finish. It really helped what you said, so thanks again.

Zayda- You like those two... Do you think I should try making a sequence of them togeather? or others togeather instead of the orders they are in now? I had troubles deciding on the in the beginning aswell. And again thanks for the advice.. it helped alot aswell. I'll be sure to keep all that in mind during my next shoot. =D

And don't worry about not commenting its alright, I know what you mean with the being busy thing. I hope you find the right car you wants !

i like the first two the best..they look teh most like youre being serious about your pictures..
some of teh other ones look like yu were just taking pictures of yourself randomly..u knwo teh way lots of kids do with a digital camera?
also, i think in teh first picture is where it really feels like theres emotion going from you, to teh picture..oyu knwo how there are those pictures of a person and its just a picture, and then there are htose pictures that really speak out, as more then a picture. the first one gets that, even if you cant see your face...
still nice pictures, but u asked fro a serious comment =P
