Okay, fine. The Jags weren't the team to beat the Pats. It looked like it was gonna happen. I thought the young, hungry team would run circles around the perfect machine known as the New England Patriots. Ugh... guess not.

So today I was rooting for the Colts. Nothing like another Colts-Pats matchup for the AFC trophy. It's not like Peyton Manning to choke the way he did, giving up penalties and throwing picks, but the Chargers were just too much for them.

Oh, great. Now I gotta rely on the Chargers to beat New England.

AFC games are almost always better than NFC games. The NFC half of the playoffs see a lot of flukes, whereas AFC teams have a lot of heart, no matter where they land in the standings. AFC games are cutthroat, heart-stopping and often unpredictable. Maybe that's why all the championships have gone to AFC teams.

At any rate, I'm still curious to see how the rest of this postseason unfolds. Right now's the Dallas-New York Giants game. Giants are up 21-17 at the head of the fourth quarter.

Go everyone except the Patriots!

The Colts always had some kind of trouble playing the Chargers. But there just too many mistakes by the Colts, namely the foolish penalties.

I did enjoy the Giants-Cowboys game, though. Let's see how the Giants do against the Packers.

i'm very worried bad eli will show up: bad weather always seems to bring out the worst in eli. however, if he plays well next weekend, he'll definitely lose that label!
